Lair of King Tongmyong's Unicorn Reconfirmed in DPRK
Pyongyang, November 29 (KCNA) -- Archaeologists of the History Institute of the DPRK Academy of Social Sciences have recently reconfirmed a lair of the unicorn rode by King Tongmyong, founder of the Koguryo Kingdom (B.C. 277-A.D. 668).
The lair is located 200 meters from the Yongmyong Temple in Moran Hill in Pyongyang City. A rectangular rock carved with words "Unicorn Lair" stands in front of the lair. The carved words are believed to date back to the period of Koryo Kingdom (918-1392).
Jo Hui Sung, director of the Institute, told KCNA: "Korea's history books deal with the unicorn, considered to be ridden by King Tongmyong, and its lair.
The Sogyong (Pyongyang) chapter of the old book 'Koryo History' (geographical book), said: Ulmil Pavilion is on the top of Mt. Kumsu, with Yongmyong Temple, one of Pyongyang's eight scenic spots, beneath it. The temple served as a relief palace for King Tongmyong, in which there is the lair of his unicorn.
The old book 'Sinjungdonggukyojisungnam' (Revised Handbook of Korean Geography) complied in the 16th century wrote that there is a lair west of Pubyok Pavilion in Mt. Kumsu.
The discovery of the unicorn lair, associated with legend about King Tongmyong, proves that Pyongyang was a capital city of Ancient Korea as well as Koguryo Kingdom."

No, the North Korean government did not claim it found evidence of unicorns (vorerst ohne weiteren Kommentar meinerseits)

Ron Paul's Farewell Speech to Congress

Date with Nate Silver

Dear Nate Silver: My name is Emma Gertlowitz and I’m eleven years old and for a million years I liked Justin Bieber because he was so cute but now I like you. I watched you on MSNBC and HBO and on “Charlie Rose” and I can’t stop thinking about how you study polls and create probability models and predict elections and how you’re always right, which I think is so unbelievably cute, and I keep imagining you saying to me, “Emma, I think that there’s a 93.7% chance of me falling in love with you.”

Subversive Chinakritik: Tibet Style

Subversive Chinakritik, produziert von „Students for a Free Tibet and the International Tibet Network“

On the eve of the CCP’s 18th Party Congress, Students for a Free Tibet and the International Tibet Network release a parody video titled “Tibetans challenge Xi Jinping – Gangnam Style.” A takeoff of Korean star Psy’s uber-popular Gangnam Style, the video features China’s heir apparent as a dimwit — a big-headed oaf whose only response to Tibetans’ growing resistance is to arrest, beat and torture protestors.
About the making of this video: Using the power of humor and theater, this video highlights the cruelty and absurdity of the Chinese government’s colonial policies in Tibet that have driven 63 Tibetans to set themselves on fire in protest of Chinese rule; 50 this year alone. It also depicts some of the creative protest tactics being used by Tibetans to challenge China’s occupation, including a 2011 boycott of Chinese vegetable vendors.

Drunk Nate Silver

Drunk Nate Silver calls a woman who turned him down in college and whispers “There’s a 74% chance you regret it now, with an upward trend.”

Drunk Nate Silver vomiting a Fibonacci spiral on the floor of Taco Bell
Drunk Nate Silver watching your funeral from the bushes, nodding
Drunk Nate Silver in Times Square on New Year's Eve counting down before everyone else
Drunk Nate Silver emails George Lucas the exact time and location of “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.”
Drunk Nate Silver holds up cadaver of Punxsutawney Phil with his left hand, bellowing “Winter is coming.”

Man hätte einfach mal Analysen in der New York Times lesen müssen.

What makes America exceptional are the bonds that hold together the most diverse nation on earth.
The belief that our destiny is shared; that this country only works when we accept certain obligations to one another and to future generations. The freedom which so many Americans have fought for and died for come with responsibilities as well as rights. And among those are love and charity and duty and patriotism. That’s what makes America great.
[...]
I have never been more hopeful about America. And I ask you to sustain that hope. I’m not talking about blind optimism, the kind of hope that just ignores the enormity of the tasks ahead or the roadblocks that stand in our path. I’m not talking about the wishful idealism that allows us to just sit on the sidelines or shirk from a fight. I have always believed that hope is that stubborn thing inside us that insists, despite all the evidence to the contrary, that something better awaits us so long as we have the courage to keep reaching, to keep working, to keep fighting.
America, I believe we can build on the progress we’ve made and continue to fight for new jobs and new opportunity and new security for the middle class. I believe we can keep the promise of our founders, the idea that if you’re willing to work hard, it doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from or what you look like or where you love. It doesn’t matter whether you’re black or white or Hispanic or Asian or Native American or young or old or rich or poor, able, disabled, gay or straight, you can make it here in America if you’re willing to try.
I believe we can seize this future together because we are not as divided as our politics suggests. We’re not as cynical as the pundits believe. We are greater than the sum of our individual ambitions, and we remain more than a collection of red states and blue states. We are and forever will be the United States of America.

USA, welcome back on the road to statism, let Europe be your guide how to deal with unpaid bills. We know how to ru(i)n countries ...

_______________________________________________

Also alles beim alten, Obama wird morgen wiedergewählt.
